We often wish that our pets could speak to us.  Especially when we know that something “just isn’t right” or that our pet is painful or uncomfortable in some part of their body.

At Shamrock Animal Hospital, we take a very proactive approach to helping your pet to deal with pain and discomfort.  Whether it is the result of aging, illness,  surgery or a new wound or bruise, Dr. Fagan will work with you to identify what treatments your pet will benefit from.

Once the need is determined, Shamrock Animal Hospital maintains a well-stocked full service pharmacy to serve our clients.  In the event that the needed medication is not carried in-house, we can direct you to our online pharmacy and your prescription will be on its way to you in no time.

Before, during and after your pet is taking medications, we may ask you to observe your pet and their behavior at a particular time of the day.  Dr. Fagan and the Shamrock Living team may want you to evaluate quality of life issues or observe what times in the day your pet is more painful or uncomfortable.  Armed with that information, we can continue to implement the appropriate treatment for your pet’s individual situation.
