End of Life Care: Is It Time For A New Cat or Dog?

There isn’t a formula or standard for making the decision to replace a recently deceased pet.  Some families have the need to have a new pet in their home almost immediately and others may wait years or never bring a new pet home.

This decision is a very personal one and one size does not fit all.  We encourage you to talk with friends and family members.  To make sure that you are emotionally ready to bring a new ball of excitement and energy into your home.  It is also important to remember that your new pet is exactly that – a new pet – and will likely behave and interact with you and your family differently than the one you just said goodbye to.

If you are unsure, we would be happy to sit down and discuss it with you and help you arrive at the decision that is best for you.
