While vaccines are important, Dr. Fagan or Dr. Fox will also perform a thorough nose-to-tail exam during each visit. From flea issues to heart problems, this checkup is key. We’ll also review our vaccine schedule to ensure your pet and family are protected from preventable diseases.

Our comprehensive exams help us make sure that everything on the outside of your pet is checked. Equally important is making sure that everything inside your pet is functioning properly as well. Our relationship with IDEXX Laboratories give our clients access to the very best diagnostic tools to help identify any internal conditions as early as possible. Our digital x-ray system helps us to get a great snapshot of the many moving pieces inside your pet and also helps us to find those ‘items’ (dog toys, marbles, nerf balls, batteries, etc.) that can cause life-threatening situations to your pet. We also use state-of-the-art ultrasound to identify other potential conditions like masses, cancer, and other serious problems.
Maintaining good oral health is of vital importance to your pet’s overall wellbeing.
During your exam, our team will pay particular attention to your pet’s dental health. We can give you tips and tricks that you can use at home to support oral health and, when the time comes, we can perform a full dental cleaning including x-rays, extractions, scaling and polishing which will help avoid pain and potential future oral health issues.
