For those of you who have been visiting Shamrock over the last 9 years, there is a pretty decent chance that you have met one of the four-legged Fagans. Since 2016, Flynn has been the inspiration and heartbeat of Shamrock Animal Hospital. He will greet you with a friendly tail wag and a smile, he will reassure you when you are worried about your own pet and, maybe most importantly, he is a tremendous source of comfort to families as they are saying goodbye to their beloved family pet.
To commemorate Dr. Fagan’s 10th anniversary at Shamrock, in 2026, we have launched the Friends of Flynn Foundation. The purpose is to support the health and wellbeing of as many pets as possible in our local community.
We are aware that inflation, innovation and other factors have continued to increase the cost of routine veterinary care. We do our best to help manage these costs and provide our clients with programs like the Shamrock Lifetime Wellness Plans to help our clients budget for the cost of care over the course of the year.
As a non-profit, the Foundation will have resources available to support those unexpected emergencies that families unfortunately experience*. As we celebrate Dr. Fagan’s first decade at Shamrock, we will be sharing more information on events, mission and opportunities for our amazing Shamrock community to lend support.
*Financial support will be available based on need and financial ability to pay for non-routine or emergency services.
Dr. Fagan has served as the medical director for Patriot Service Dogs since 2019. The organization provides trained service dogs – at no charge – to veterans in need.
